Accelerating workforce readiness: Semiconductor Bootcamp

Semiconductor Bootcamp is an immersive, hands-on training program developed by industry veterans in partnership with industry leaders. Whether a recent graduate or someone exploring a new career path, our employer-exclusive bootcamp is designed to equip participants with the skills and insights needed to thrive in this rapidly evolving field.

Semiconductor skills built from the inside out

How We Help the Industry

The semiconductor industry is growing, but the qualified workforce to support it isn't keeping pace. Semiconductor Bootcamp was built to close that gap, giving employers a faster path to job-ready talent and giving individuals a supported entry point into one of the world's most in-demand industries.

  • Employers get certified, fab-ready hires who arrive prepared to contribute, reducing onboarding time and the cost of a slow ramp
  • Participants gain industry-recognized credentials from industry experts and a clear pathway into a high-growth field with long-term career potential

How it Works

Participation in Semiconductor Bootcamp is available
exclusively to employers. This employer-centered approach allows us to deliver a high-impact training experience that accelerates workforce readiness, reduces onboarding time, and prepares new hires to contribute effectively from day one.

  • Employers enroll new hires or pre-screened candidates directly into the program
  • Graduates complete training, earn certifications, and are ready to deploy to your facility within days

Curriculum

The Bootcamp curriculum covers nine semiconductor-specific modules, developed in partnership with OEMs and end users to reflect the skills and knowledge new hires actually need on day one. Modules are delivered across various methods of instruction: VR, classroom, lab, and process tool lab. Participants build both understanding and hands-on confidence before they set foot in your facility.

Methods of instruction

What makes the Semiconductor Bootcamp effective is how it's built. Participants get access to demonstration equipment, VR simulations, and instructor-led labs that simulate actual fab processes, so by the time they arrive on site, they've already done the work.

Virtual Reality

Participants practice complex tasks in a safe, controlled environment before touching real equipment, building confidence and muscle memory without the risk

Lab

Hands-on time with real equipment where participants develop the technical skills and physical familiarity that classroom instruction alone can't replicate

Classroom

Instructor-led sessions provide real-time guidance, immediate feedback, and the foundational knowledge participants need to make sense of what they experience in the lab

Process Tool Lab

Participants have hands-on access to a functioning process tool before they ever enter a client's fab, the closest thing to day-one experience without being on site

Industry Recognized Certifications

Every Semiconductor Bootcamp graduate earns industry-recognized credentials from two of the most respected names in the field. These aren't participation certificates, they're verified, portable qualifications that employers can stand behind and graduates can carry throughout their careers. Together, SEMI endorsement and Swagelok certification signal both the breadth of the program and the real-world applicability of what participants learn.

SEMI Endorsement

A rigorous third-party review against established standards for curriculum relevance, safety coverage, instructional quality, and measurable outcomes — the semiconductor industry's mark of training excellence.

Certificate of Completion

Participants will be awarded a Certificate of Completion for Semiconductor Bootcamp upon successful completion of all course content and assessments.
